1. Who you are buying from
This website is operated for the Melanie Newman Salon Essentials brand. Products sold on this site to UK customers are sold and supplied by Mutney’s Professional Pet Care Ltd (“Mutneys”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 06511604, registered office 2 St Chad’s Cottage, Primrose Lane, Prees, Whitchurch, Shropshire SY13 2EH; trading from Rosehill Industrial Estate, Stoke Heath, Market Drayton, Shropshire TF9 2JU. VAT number: GB 928 7907 72. Mutneys is the seller of record and your contract for the purchase of goods is with Mutneys.
Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Pty Ltd (Australia) is the brand owner and manufacturer, and provides product and grooming support.
2. Placing an order
By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. Your order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we send your dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where a product is unavailable, a pricing or description error has occurred, or payment can’t be authorised — and will refund any amount paid.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the current rate. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. Prices may change, but changes won’t affect an order we have already accepted. Payment is taken in full at the time of order. Promotional discounts (including multi-buy savings) are applied automatically at checkout as described on the product page, cannot be combined with other codes unless stated, and may be withdrawn at any time.
4. Subscribe & Save
Where offered, subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you select and are charged to your saved payment method at the subscription price shown. You can skip, pause or cancel at any time from your account before the next renewal date. We will email you before each renewal.
5. Delivery
See our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes when payment is received in full.
6. Cancellation, returns and refunds
See our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. Using our products
Melanie Newman products are formulated for dogs and are for external use on animals only. Always follow the dilution and usage directions on the label and product page. Keep out of reach of children. Stop use and rinse if irritation occurs, and consult a vet if it persists. Clippers, blades and scissors are professional tools — use with care and keep away from children.
8. Product information
We take care to describe products accurately, but images are for illustration and packaging may vary. If we discover an error in a product you’ve ordered we will tell you and give you the option to proceed or cancel for a full refund.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses — this site is for consumers; trade customers should contact Mutneys directly for trade terms.
10. Intellectual property
The Melanie Newman name, logos, product names, images and content on this site are owned by or licensed to Melanie Newman Salon Essentials and may not be used without permission.
11. Privacy
How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there). If any part of these terms is found unenforceable the rest remains in effect. If you have a complaint, please contact Mutneys first at sales@mutneys.com; you may also use the EU/UK online dispute resolution routes available to consumers.
